STRIDE – A New Holistic Approach To Running

STRIDE is a simple, runner-focused self-assessment that helps you understand why your training is working—or breaking down. Rather than blaming one muscle, one shoe, or one bad run, STRIDE looks at six areas that consistently shape running progress: Strength, Technique, Rhythm, Intention, Durability and Enjoyment. Together, they give you a snapshot of your current running readiness based on the last four weeks of training.

How STRIDE helps you as a runner

Most running issues aren’t random. They usually come from a mismatch between what your training is asking for and what your body is ready to tolerate. STRIDE helps you spot that mismatch early. By identifying your lowest one or two areas, you get clarity on where to focus next—not more exercises, not more miles, but the right change at the right time.

STRIDE is not a diagnosis and it’s not a judgement. It’s a practical decision-making tool. Whether you’re new to running and trying to stay consistent, or experienced and tired of managing niggles, STRIDE helps you train with more intention, build durability, and protect enjoyment. Re-scored over time, it also shows whether your changes are actually working—so progress becomes something you can feel and understand.
